Position Overview:
As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging visual content that resonates with our audience. You will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with our brand identity and objectives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong creative skills, and proficiency in video editing software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiency: Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. The ability to consistently deliver edited content on time and meet project deadlines and client expectations is crucial.
- Editing: Manipulate and edit the raw footage into compelling videos that maintain a consistent style and tone.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with digital marketing manager, copywriter, and other team members to ensure videos meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Creative Input: Provide creative input and ideas for video concepts, formats, transitions, and styles.
- Quality Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of videos by reviewing and refining edits, transitions, sound, and visual effects.
- Technical Skills: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in video editing techniques, software, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a video editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and creative projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of video production processes, especially the editing part.
- Strong storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual composition, pacing, and timing.
- Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to edit as shown example
- Knowledge of Facebook and YouTube ad editing, ability to add subtitles (script will be provided)
